Pine Bush Equipment Co., Inc. is a construction equipment dealer located in Pine Bush, New York. Founded in 1956, PBE has been the place to go for all your heavy equipment needs for 52 years. In 2007, PBE launched an intensive search to find the right document imaging package to solve our overwhelming paper problem. Because we deal with so many distributors, our monthly paper load was starting to take over our building. We were literally running out of space for the boxes. A six month search ended with the decision to engage ALOS Micrographics in Montgomery, New York, a partner in the DocuWare Imaging product.

After an extensive pre installation study of our needs and requirements, ALOS configured our server and after a smooth installation, we went live in early January of 2008. With three locations requiring access to documents at any time, DocuWare made the task simple. Users can access our “File Cabinets”, from any location and search for a vendor invoice by simply entering a part number they think is on the invoice. What a time saver! No more searching through boxes and folders looking for the document. Then it has to be faxed to the other location where it’s needed. Our WAN allows anyone on our network access to any scanned document. Administration of DocuWare is painless and quite simple. It really just seems to be on cruise control. The power of the full text editor that allows instant searches is remarkable.
